Sandra Bravo is a Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC, in Austin, Texas. She offers individual counseling services to adults and specializes in working with women and their cancer-related issues. Sandra honors the intersectionality experience of individuals and attempts to meet clients where they are on their life journey. Through the exploration of the relationship between thoughts, behaviors, and feelings, she guides clients to find answers to their questions and the best approach to make changes in their life. She offers a variety of therapy techniques to include: traditional talk therapy, mindful breathing, guided imagery, sandtray, pastoral counseling, and more. Sandra works with adults that are dealing with anxiety, trauma, PTSD, grief and loss, and cancer-related issues.
Sandra has 12+ years experience working with LGBTQ+ individuals, active-duty ARMY service members and their family, adolescents in foster and adoption care, hospice, Latinx individuals, seminarians, clergy, and non-profit organizations. She earned a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M University-Central Texas and a Master of Arts in Religion degree from the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest.
